What does the process involve?
Certifying Acceptance Agents are authorised by the IRS to complete ITIN applications. This means they are able to do the following for you:
Complete the ITIN application form
Provide a certified copy of acceptable ID documents (Originals are still accepted where applicable)
Review the documentation required for submission
Issue a Certificate of Accuracy to the IRS (this shows the ITIN number application is complete and accurate)
Submit the application to the IRS ITIN Operations office
Receive the ITIN number from the IRS and provide a copy to you
Mobile services
Our mobile and video appointment services also save you time; we can meet you at a location suitable to you, or hold video meetings to observe documents being certified.
Please note, we need to see the originals of documents that are to be used in your application.
However, if you are unable to meet us, they can be couriered to us and mailed back via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
